Privacy Policy
PCuse.com is in a position of trust. While we sometimes just guide site owners so they can develop their site, we often have access to private information. Please be aware that we do everything in our power to keep this data safe or if prefered deleted.
Examples of our policies:
- Donated and Traded Hardware - We use http://www.dban.org/ which uses a multi pass of 0's, 1's and random bits to securely delete all data. There is no way to access data off a hard disk that has been through this process.
- Domain Registrar account details - If you have registered a domain elsewhere it will need to have the name servers pointing to the new web host. In this case PCuse.com is often responsible for making that change. We will require either a temporary or the actual user name and password to make this change on your behalf or help you to do it. It would be easy for someone to abuse this information, but we quickly make the change and then report to the client. The user name / password is then deleted or if requested kept in an encrypted software safe.
Please feel free to ask if you have any questions on privacy. We are proud of our history of no privacy breaches. You are welcome to send encrypted email using pgp/ gpg if you prefer. You can look up Shaun's public key using the key id A921949 or just ask for help.
